COVID 19 precautions:
Please do not come to the clinic if you have any of the following new symptoms (not due to a pre-existing condition): fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, diarrhea.
Please do not come to the clinic if you have had a known exposure to someone with any of the above symptoms or who has COVID 19.
If any of the above is true, please consult with your health care provider.
Please do not come to the clinic if you are waiting for results of a test for COVID 19.
We will be taking your temperature and doing a symptom check when you arrive at the clinic.
You will be required to wear a face covering or mask that covers your nose and mouth at all times while at the clinic. We will not allow anyone to wear a valved mask while at the clinic **

Please be on time for your appointment. We will try our best, but we may not be able to accommodate late arrivals in order to maintain social distancing and the flow of the clinic.
New patients; allow 60-75 minutes for your first treatment.
**All patients; allow enough time to get settled in and be ready for treatment (in your chair, pants and sleeves rolled up, cell phone off) by your appointment time. We will be waking you after you have been resting with your needles for 30-45 minutes, to maintain social distancing and the flow of the clinic.
Be aware-the bathroom is a public space, use with caution, take in only what you need.
We will not be offering blankets, if you want to be covered, please bring a light blanket or scarf with you.
The last acupuncture appointment of the day begins one hour before the end of the shift.
We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Fee for a missed or late cancelled appointment; $40 for initial visit, $25 for follow up visits. Fees for COVID related cancellations will be waived.
Getting here: If driving, allow time to find parking (bring quarters for meters). If taking the Red Line, we are about a 5-minute walk from the Harvard Sq T station down Mass Ave, just past the corner of Bow St. The #1 bus stops across the street.
We take cash (always appreciated, we cannot make change), checks (if possible, please fill out before coming in), and credit cards (including HSA cards and contactless payment methods).
We strongly encourage you to set up an account when you schedule your first appointment. It will make scheduling faster for you and it will help us to keep more accurate records of your visits and treatments. Your information will only be used for our communication with you; it will not be given to any third party.
I was thrilled to discover Harvard Square Community Acupuncture.
